Cycles x Queer Utopia Worldbuilding: Field Notes

This document is a record of my learnings as I trial and grow my Queer Utopia workshop (name pending). The current iteration of this workshop is as follows:

• Day 1: Co-creation following the guide
• Day 2: Continued co-creation/fleshing out details as time permits
• Day 2.5 (Optional): virtual check-in
• Day 3: Cycles TTRPG with created elements
• Day 4: Art/Resource creation

It is a living document, and will be updated as I go :)

A few worries:

1. Transitioning from creative writing to RPG -> Translating different elements to different terminology from Cycles and running through story elements
2. Group involvement -> with both solo and group creation time, I fear that not everyone will have the opportunity to share things that they've put a lot of emotional stake in. This might require a preface, letting folks know that their details can be useful for the RPG elements
3. Different levels of detail and involvement -> some folks may not be as used to the process of creation and struggle with ideas. Perhaps encourage talking it out. More examples might grow from more of these workshops run.
